The kennel
The LEE Kennel brings it all together - quality, style, and price. The kennel is a standard size, 4'W x 6'D x 6'H. It consists of a grade 304 stainless steel gate, HDPE (high-density polyethelene) panels topped with a patent-pending dog-bone cutout panel, a dual magnetic latch, and a new connection system to put it all together.
Kennels are typically side by side and may back up to each other either sharing a common rear panel, or backing up to a wall. Kennels may be in any of the following configurations:
- A four-panel stand-alone kennel consisting of:
- The front gate panel
- Three panels - left, right, and rear
- A three-panel kennel is attached to a wall or another kennel, which becomes the fourth side, and consists of:
- The front gate panel
- Two side panels backed up to the wall or another kennel
- OR a side and a rear panel attached to a wall or shared with another kennel, forming the other side of the kennel
- A two-panel kennel, consisting of the front gate panel and either a side or rear panel, installed in a corner of the room, which becomes the other side and rear of the kennel.
Assembly overview
The kennels are designed to be easy to clean and to help prevent cross contamination from one kennel to another. The panels sit on inverted T tracks made of HDPE, which doesn't corrode or rust, to help prevent damage caused by caustic waste or cleaning materials. The panels are connected to each other using HDPE connectors rather than brackets and screws, also to maintain ease of cleaning and maintenance. The customer will route the sides and bottom of each panel to accomodate the connectors. The stainless steel gate also excels in this potentially caustic environment.
Product overview
The LEE kennel consists of the following parts as applicable for your installation.
- 4'W x 6'H front panel / gate assembly
- 6' x 6' HDPE side panel, made up of a 4'H x 6'W panel & a 2' x 6' dog-bone cutout panel
- Optional - depending if your layout includes rear panels - 4'W x 6'H rear panel, made up of a 4' x 4' panel & a 2' x 6' dog-bone cutout panel
- 6' T-track for mounting side panel to the floor, 4' T-track for mounting rear panel to the floor
- Dog-bone dual MagnaLatch® handle assembly and gate post
- 24" x 1" square tubing for the corners of stand-alone units
- Interlock kit including the 3-way and X connectors as needed
